Pacific Lanes

champs Marshall Kent & Toby Shephard

Marshall Kent and Toby Shepard captured JBT titles in exciting Pacific Northwest Conference action at Pacific Lanes.

Jordan Plunkett continued his excellent season by opening up the scratch division stepladder finals with a 200-172 win over Ryan Showalter.  Kent then defeated Plunkett- not an easy task these days- 217-182, and then really fired it up with a 278-171 win over Patrick Hickok to advance to the title match.

Top seed Jeremy Witt was enjoying his best JBT event by far, leading from mid-qualifying to nab the top seed.  Meanwhile, Kent was looking to avenge some ugly losses in stepladder finals since his last win.  He was able to do just that, as Witt struggled and Kent took advantage for a 206-157 win and his 2nd career JBT title.

Francesca Dorsch began her climb up the handicap division stepladder finals with a 205-162 win over Kolby Crowell I.  Miss Dorsch then edged Kjerstin Richards 212-203, and followed with a 217-187 win over Vince Bachteler to reach the title match.

Top seed Toby Shepard had been at or near the top of the leaderboard all day long, and he stopped Dorsch's fine run with a 251-195 win, good for his second JBT title as well.

Thanks to the whole crew at Pacific for another great job hosting our Tour.  Over $1,600 in scholarships were awarded to bowlers of all ages and averages.  Want in on the fun?  Come on out to the next JBT event, it's as simple as that!
