TRIANGLE BOWL

champs Chris Tuholski & Bradley Baltazar

Chris Tuholski and Bradley Baltazar put on impressive performances to capture JBT titles in exciting Pac NW Conference action at Longview's Triangle Bowl.

Kolby Crowell began the scratch division stepladder finals with a 217-150 win over Andy Herrmann.  Nick Devlin then beat Crowell 201-169.  Tyler Boe then turned the tables on Devlin with a 201-167 win to advance to the title match.

Top seed Chris Tuholski overpowered the tricky Sydney lane pattern to get to the top seed, while Boe played the more 'expected' line on the short pattern.  This time, it was Chris' raw power that won out, as he torched the lanes for a 258-204 win, and the third title of his JBT career.

Natasha Richardson squeezed out a win in round one of the handicap stepladder, 181-175 over Zoe Mahn.  Baltazar then took over, beating Richardson 211-177, and following with a 233-175 win over Michelle Jensen, to reach the title game.

Followers of our YouTube channel, jbt900, might have though we made a mistake on the video title, but nope, again it was Baltazar and Michael Creel for the title, just like in Yakima the previous month.  Creel again bowled well in the title game, but Bradley was much more comfortable this time around, and in an exciting match Baltazar squeezed out a 227-224 win, good for the first title of his JBT career.

Jensen's excellent day continued with a title match win over Candice Goldfinch for the day's Women's Series title.

Thanks as always to Beau and the excellent team at Triangle for a great job hosting our Tour.  Want in on all the fun?  Just check out our schedule and come on down!
