CERBAT LANES

champs Nick Devlin & Andrew Thomas, runner-up Clifford Robbins, Girls & U17 winners Alyssa Tucker & Cerell Cardines

Two players in a Bowler of the Year battle picked up big wins in exciting JBT action at Kingman's Cerbat Lanes.

Kyle Reed began the scratch division stepladder finals with a 227-154 win over Cortez Schenck.  Kyle Duster then took over, beating Reed 258-227, and outscoring Keith Fung 245-235 to advance to the title game.

Top seed Devlin and Duster both had  tough time with carry in the title game, but when Duster couldn't get the first of two tenth frame strikes he needed, a relieved Devlin claimed the 204-184 win and the 21st title of his JBT career.

Avery Domaguin remained red hot with a 274-189 win over Marc Villalobos to begin the handicap stepladder finals.  Clifford Robbins then stopped Domaguin 224-196, and followed with a 252-183 win over David Jepsen to advance to the title match.

Top seed Andrew Thomas bowled great all day, and consolidated his points lead with a 231-189 win over his buddy Robbins for the first title of his JBT career.

Cerell Cardines won the U17 event in emphatic fashion, beating TJ Rock 278-222, while Alyssa Tucker also rolled big in the girls scratch title game, beating April McDonnell 224-150.

Big thanks as always to Ed and the ream at Cerbat for a top notch hosting job.  Check out our schedule and come on down to the next JBT event to get in on all this fun!
