PAC NW DOUBLES

champs Jake Klemsen, Nate Davis, Andrew Walker and Andrew Mohr

Jake Klemsen and Nate Davis defended their titles, while Andrews Walker and Mohr tasted JBT victory for the first time, in exciting Pac NW Doubles action at AMF Roxbury Lanes.

Jordan Plunkett and Jimmy Yost opened the scratch division stepladder finals with a 243-163 win over Rob Edwards and Cody Stone.  Tyler Cruz and Marshall Kent then beat Jordan and Jimmy 246-181.  Two more Stone brothers, Lucas and Nick, then came on to beat Cruz and Kent 253-175, to reach the title match.

Top seeds Jake Klemsen and Nate Davis won the Doubles right here at Roxbury a year ago, and showed no signs all day of relinquishing the crown.  The title match was the same story, with Jake and Nate dominating for a 223-167 win and their second JBT titles each.

The all-female team of Chelsea Lynch and Falisha Forgash opened the handicap division finals with a 243-184 win over Jeremy and Marty McCullum.  Chelsea and Falisha then beat another family pair, Conrad and Debbie Switzer, 189-179, before falling 213-185 to Andy Walker and Andrew Mohr, advancing the Andys to the title match.

Top seeds Katie Biesmann and Brett Hall were eager to earn their first career titles, but so were Walker and Mohr, and in a close battle, they emerged with the 188-169 win and the championship.

Over $1,800 in scholarships were awarded.  Want in on the fun?  Come on out to the next JBT event, it's as simple as that!
