champ Jess Gagliardi
Jess Gagliardi captured his 3rd
JBT title in exciting 'scratchplay' action at Bowl El Paso.
Gagliardi beat fellow Coloradoan Nathan Shock
in one semifinal, while in an all-Santa Fe simultaneous title match, Diego
Lucero got past Dan Romero, setting up the title match.
Jess was able to defeat Diego for the victoy.
8 of the 15 entrants earned a scholarship
prize, led by Jess' $300 haul for winning plus throwing an Ebonite ball for the
win.
