Jess Gagliardi captured his 3rd JBT title in exciting 'scratchplay' action at Bowl El Paso.
Gagliardi beat fellow Coloradoan Nathan Shock in one semifinal, while in an all-Santa Fe simultaneous title match, Diego Lucero got past Dan Romero, setting up the title match.
Jess was able to defeat Diego for the victoy.
8 of the 15 entrants earned a scholarship prize, led by Jess' $300 haul for winning plus throwing an Ebonite ball for the win.
