PAC NW BAKER TEAM SHOOTOUT

champs Tommie McNeal, Harry Davis, Cameron Schneider, Casey Knudson, Jake Sale
A talented top-seeded quintet survived the challenges of matchplay to capture the title at the JBT Pac NW Baker Team Challenge, hosted by Bowlero of Lakewood.
Teams were required to have one under-170 average bowler, with extras earning bonus pins, mandating creative teams where everyone had a shot. After ten qualifying games, Jake Sale, Harry Davis, Casey Knudson, under-170 bowler Cameron Schneider, and alumni great Tommie McNeal grabbed the number one spot heading into best 2-of-3 matchplay, when this event gets really exciting. A semifinal thriller that came down to a 179-178 game 3 win over the Bishop family carried Ava Sakoda, Kailey Heller, Ewan Oester, Ryker Wistrand, and Jacob Adams to the title match against the #1 seeds.
After dropping the first game, the Oregonians came roaring back with a front-6 game two win, forcing one more to settle things. In the decider the top seeds left no doubt, rolling a big 243 team game for the win. It’s Sale’s third career title, Knudsen’s second, Schneider and Davis’ third, and an eleventh to add to McNeal’s resume.
Szylas Totman picked up a quick $100 bonus by winning the 7-8-9-10 ‘halftime’ game, outlasting Greyson Ogata for the windfall.
Big thanks as always to the Bowlero team for their usual great hosting job. Want in on all this fun for all ages and skill levels? Just check out our terrific upcoming schedule and drop us an email to reserve your spots!
